What’s involved?
This is a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice to support our busy Glasgow office of around 50 colleagues. You will play a key role at the front of the office and help with administrative duties, providing high-quality support that ensures the office runs smoothly.
This apprenticeship will give you a strong foundation in administration, customer service, and office operations, with insight into how a law firm operates. While this is an apprenticeship, there may be future opportunities to continue your career with us after completion of your qualification.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, delivering a bespoke, friendly, and professional welcome while managing all check‑ins through Rendezvous Workspace and related digital systems
Manage and triage inbound enquiries using Outlook, Teams, Zoom, and the Client Hub, ensuring seamless communication, accurate message handling, and a collaborative flow of information across teams
Coordinate meeting room bookings using Rendezvous Workspace and internal scheduling tools
Use iManage, Visualfiles, and Work to maintain accurate digital records, update client files, and support case management processes
Process payments and financial tasks using QuickBooks, FlowMatrix, and SagePay to support efficient back‑office operations
Help facilitate cross‑department workflows by using shared digital platforms and communication tools
Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple teams, adapting quickly to changing priorities and providing proactive support where needed
What do they need from you?
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with clients and colleagues
Positive, proactive, and eager to learn new skills
Well-organised, able to prioritise, and manage multiple tasks effectively
A strong team player, willing to support colleagues across the office
Confident using IT, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and other office tools (training provided)
Attentive to detail and responsible when handling information
Reliable, committed, and enthusiastic about delivering a high standard of work
Minimum qualifications – Nat 5 English (pass)
Willing to complete the Digital Applications Apprenticeship qualification
Interested in building a career in a professional services or legal environment
Salary: £17,550 per annum
Working week: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
