We are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded global investment firm to appoint a senior HR leader to a pivotal VP‑level role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building exceptional People functions and embedding them within high‑performing, intellectually rigorous organisations.
The Role
This role will sit at the heart of the business, shaping decision‑making, building trusted relationships and ensuring a strong, scalable HR foundation to support the firm’s continued evolution. While the primary focus is the UK, you will also provide senior‑level guidance and oversight on employee relations and related matters globally. Key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to senior leaders across the organisation
- Owning and evolving the full employee lifecycle in the UK, spanning core HR operations through to strategic People initiatives
- Providing senior‑level guidance on employee relations and complex people matters, both locally and internationally
- Navigating nuanced, high‑impact situations with confidence, discretion and sound judgement
- Building strong, credible relationships across a high‑performing, intellectually curious organisation
- Helping to define what “great” looks like for the People function as the firm continues to grow and mature
The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of operating at pace within high‑performing, global organisations, ideally gained within private equity, alternative investments or a closely aligned sector. You will have experience building or meaningfully evolving HR functions, a sophisticated understanding of complex stakeholder environments and the credibility to influence confidently at senior and board level.
