Visum Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading business who are seeking two Specification Business Development Managers to drive growth across the social housing market – one covering the North and one covering the South of the UK (excluding Scotland). This is a predominantly home-based role with regular travel across the region, including overnight stays as required. The focus is on developing strong relationships within the social housing and residential development space. Role Overview Develop and grow specification-led sales activity within the social housing sector Build and maintain relationships with housing associations, developers, local authorities, and relevant subcontractor networks Identify and secure project opportunities through a proactive, account-led approach Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts while driving new business across the region Work closely with internal teams to support project delivery and account growth Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting Provide market insight and feedback to support commercial strategy Candidate Requirements Proven background in specification or project-led sales Experience selling into social housing, housing associations, or residential developers Strong relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholder levels Commercially driven with a track record of winning and developing accounts Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable with regular regional travel and overnight stays Salary & Benefits Up to £70,000 basic salary Company car / car allowance options Bonus scheme41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15…
