Job Title: Business Development Manager — Central Asia
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices and entrepreneurs across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and neighbouring Central Asian markets.
• Conduct outreach to prospective clients, attend regional conferences and networking events, and represent JCFO at industry forums in Central Asia and the UK.
• Onboard new clients to JCFO’s advisory and platform services, managing the end-to-end client acquisition process including needs assessment, proposal development and contract negotiation.
• Act as primary cultural and linguistic liaison for Russian, Uzbek and Tajik-speaking clients, ensuring communication and service delivery is appropriately tailored to regional expectations and norms.
• Collaborate with the investment advisory and structuring teams to match client needs with appropriate JCFO service offerings, including wealth diversification, holding company structuring and capital raising.
• Research and monitor developments in Central Asian wealth, investment and regulatory environments, providing intelligence to inform JCFO’s product and service development.
• Build and maintain a network of regional intermediaries including lawyers, accountants, bankers and government contacts across Central Asia.
• Support the development of marketing and business development materials targeted at Central Asian clients.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of JCFO’s Central Asia strategy and service proposition.
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, client relationship management, ideally within a family office, private bank or financial advisory environment.
• Fluency in Russian and/or Uzbek or Tajik – essential for client communication and relationship management.
• Deep knowledge of Central Asian business culture, wealth structures, family business dynamics and investment behaviours.
• Existing professional network across Central Asian HNWIs, family offices or business communities.
• Strong understanding of international wealth management concepts including diversification, asset structuring and cross-border investment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
