We’re working with a respected loss adjusting firm who are looking to bring in Liability Claims Handlers to support their growing workload.
The Role:
This is a desk-based position, focused on managing and progressing liability claims from the office while supporting the wider adjusting team.
You’ll be handling a varied caseload including:
- Employers’ Liability (EL)
- Public Liability (PL)
- Product Liability
Across sectors such as construction, leisure, social housing, and local authority.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing claims from first notification through to settlement
- Assessing liability, coverage, and quantum
- Supporting investigations alongside adjusters
- Liaising with policyholders, insurers, solicitors, and third parties
- Keeping files updated and reserves accurate
Working Environment:
- Based in either Milton Keynes or Kent
- Initially 5 days in the office for training and onboarding
- Moving into a hybrid setup once established
- Working within a close-knit team, reporting into an experienced Regional Manager
What They’re Looking For:
- Ideally 5+ years’ liability claims experience (EL/PL)
- Strong understanding of claims handling and liability principles
- Ability to manage your own caseload effectively
- Open to candidates from broader claims backgrounds looking to move into liability
