The Opportunity
We are working with a leading international law firm with a well‑established Real Estate practice in the South of England. The team is looking to hire a junior Real Estate Associate to join its Southampton office as part of continued growth.
The role
You will work as part of a collaborative and highly regarded real estate team advising a broad client base that includes developers, investors, funds, lenders, and corporates. The work is varied and provides strong exposure to high‑quality commercial real estate matters.
Typical responsibilities will include
- Acting on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property
- Supporting on landlord and tenant matters including leases, agreements for lease, and renewals
- Assisting with property aspects of financing and corporate transactions
- Carrying out title review, due diligence, and reporting
- Managing elements of transactions with appropriate supervision
Candidate profile
- England and Wales qualified solicitor or qualifying in 2026
- NQ to 2 years’ post‑qualification experience in commercial real estate
- Experience gained from a recognised real estate team, either private practice or in‑house
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- Commercial, pragmatic approach with a willingness to take responsibility
