ER Specialist

Are you immediately available or able to commit to an initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a manufacturing business on the search for an ER Business Partner. This is a contract role based in Aylesbury, offering hybrid working, in an incredibly fast paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert on all Employee Relations matters across the site
• Provide pragmatic, commercially focused ER advice to line managers and senior stakeholders
• Lead and manage complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
• Support and coach managers to build capability and confidence in handling people matters
• Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
• Partner with HR and operational teams to drive a positive employee relations climate
• Identify trends and risks within ER data, providing insights and recommendations
• Support change management initiatives, including restructures and organisational change
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and policies

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in an ER-focused HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application
• Demonstrated experience handling high-volume and complex ER casework
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities
• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) preferred
• Available to start immediately or at short notice
