Job Description:

Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a permanent graduate HR officer to join a growing organisation based in Bridgend.

The Graduate HR officer will be a stand-alone role with support from the Group function.

You’ll role remit will be:

  • Acting as a trusted first point of contact for HR queries and guidance
  • Recruitment – overseeing process, assisting with job descriptions, applications, interviews, offers
  • New starters on-boarding – overseeing process including all admin, producing contracts, organising probation reviews and induction process
  • Managing Cascade (our online HR application) for all users in terms of administration, holidays, keeping information up to date, dealing with queries etc
  • Maintaining accurate HR systems and reporting while improving digitalisation of HR processing and record keeping within HR application
  • Overseeing all company training:
  • Main contact for our occupational health provider
  • In charge of arranging Mental Health training and events
  • Pension – main contact for company, liaising directly with our pension provider, administering any changes required to pension scheme
  • GDPR – responsible for compliance and arranging any training and staff communication
  • Coordinate bi-annual appraisal process throughout the company
  • Guiding and coaching managers to build confidence and capability in people management
  • KPI reporting of HR metrics to finance on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis
  • Assisting managers for any disciplinary / staff issues and overall support in dealing with issues as they arise in conjunction with Group HR Function
  • Producing reports / presentations / statistics as required for monthly financial and board reports
  • Responsible for on-going review, update and maintenance of all HR Policies and Procedures in conjunction with Group HR Function
  • Ensuring we are compliant with new regulation and employment law in conjunction with Group HR Function

This role is fully on site in Bridgend

On offer:

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 + pension + benefits + quarterly bonus

Other: Fully supported to achieve CIPD Level 3
