Project Manager – Business Change (Public Sector)

We’re supporting a leading UK-based organisation that partners with local authorities and public sector clients to deliver large-scale transformation and operational improvement programmes.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end change initiatives, helping to improve services, strengthen delivery, and drive better outcomes for communities.
The role:
- Lead projects from scoping through to implementation and closure
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, operational teams, and clients
- Manage plans, risks, budgets, and reporting
- Drive delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Support transformation across services such as Revenues & Benefits, customer services, finance, and HR
What we’re looking for:
- Proven Project or Change Management experience
- Experience working with local authorities or the wider public sector
- Leadership experience and management of project managers
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience delivering transformation or operational change projects
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets
Desirable:
- Experience with Revenues & Benefits or similar local government systems
