£30,000–£35,000 basic (DOE) + Monthly & Quarterly Bonus

The Role

An expanding and well-regarded supplier within the UK construction market is looking to appoint a Sales Executive to strengthen its commercial function. This is a highly proactive role suited to someone who enjoys outbound engagement, uncovering opportunities, and building a pipeline through intelligent prospecting.

You’ll be joining a business with strong market traction, working in a professional environment where performance is recognised and progression is genuinely achievable.

The Opportunity

This position plays a pivotal role in driving new business. Acting as the initial touchpoint for architects, contractors, and manufacturers, you’ll be identifying early-stage opportunities and creating openings for the wider sales team.

Success in this role comes from asking the right questions, qualifying effectively, and developing relationships that convert over time. Your activity will directly influence revenue growth and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new business opportunities across the construction sector
  • Carry out consistent outbound calling to a defined prospect base
  • Engage with decision-makers and assess project viability
  • Book qualified meetings (virtual and face-to-face) for senior sales colleagues
  • Maintain professional follow-up through clear and timely communication
  • Manage structured follow-ups to nurture prospects through the pipeline
  • Accurately record activity and updates within the CRM system
  • Share insights on market trends and competitor activity

About You

Experience:

  • Background in B2B telesales, telemarketing, or lead generation
  • Track record of achieving activity and pipeline targets
  • Exposure to construction, property, or technical B2B sectors is beneficial
  • Comfortable working with CRM platforms

Skills:

  • Confident handling objections and navigating gatekeepers
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Organised, persistent, and target-driven
  • Commercially aware with a genuine interest in projects and people
