Job OverviewWe are seeking a professional, welcoming, and experienced Corporate Receptionist to join our Guest Services team. This role is responsible for delivering reception, administrative, and secretarial services efficiently and professionally, acting as the face of the client workspace.Working as part of a 5* Mitie team, you will take ownership of the reception environment and provide a first-class customer experience across all integrated facilities management services. You will ensure all customer requests and site activities are managed efficiently, delivering consistently high standards for all visitors, clients, and colleagues.Working Hours: 40 Hours per weekBetween the hours of 07:00 – 17:30Shift patterns are subject to availability and will be decided upon business needs. Key Responsibilities Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors, managing sign-in processes, security passes, and transport requirementsMaintain a tidy, professional reception area at all timesHandle telephone calls and emails promptly and professionally, ensuring correct etiquette is followedManage the switchboard, directing calls accurately and maintaining associated recordsAct as the central point of contact on site for clients, guests, contractors, and service linesManage shared inboxes, visitor queries, messages, and general enquiriesOversee incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and package distributionIssue visitor, contractor, and staff passes, including pit passes where authorisedSupport building security, including opening and closing procedures and emergency evacuationsManage desk, room, and collaboration space bookings using the site booking systemBook taxis and shuttles via approved providers and manage travel ticket stock where applicableOrder consumable goods and maintain stock levelsMaintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring documentation is correctly storedCollate data and produce reports as required, supporting audits when necessaryBuild strong professional relationships with key stakeholders and anticipate client and visitor needsWork flexibly as part of the wider on-site team to ensure a seamless serviceUphold Signature uniform and grooming standards at all times What We Are Looking ForExperience & Skills Proven customer service experience, ideally within a corporate or front-of-house environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and as part of a teamConfident computer user, including Microsoft Word and Excel (desirable)Experience with desk or room booking systems (desirable) Personal Attributes Professional, smart, and well-presented at all timesWell organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environmentApproachable, personable, and customer-focusedFlexible and adaptable approach to workWillingness to undertake further training where required Our market-leading flexible benefits scheme provides you with benefits that suit your lifestyle.
