Solution Architect

Title: Solution Architect

Contract: Full-time, 6 months

IR35: Outside IR35

Location: Hybrid, London onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Works with nominated senior business change leads to review business change plans and define and capture needs and map these to technology requirements.
• Develops solution designs for changes, in consultation with Business Analyst, Developers, and Engineers.
• Keeps up to date with industry trends and technologies, relevant to their product area, working closely with leading vendors.
• Works closely with the Technology Office and Shared Services, to exploit new technology accelerators, to reduce implementation cost, to reduce improve service and/or time to deliver change.
• Performs reviews and assurance of design and build activity to ensure alignment to the target blueprint and designs throughout the development lifecycle, for nominated products and services.
• Drives consistent adoption of new and improved ways of working across all staff within their product line.
• Draws on an extensive knowledge of technology as well as deep expertise in a number of disciplines, including product development methodologies and end-to-end lifecycle management of line of business applications.
• Supports Product Owners, setting the technology direction for IT Services in collaboration with the Technology Office, Shared Services, and Infrastructure Technology teams. Preparing the technology blueprints, roadmaps and strategy required to achieve ICT.
• Engages with a complex community of stakeholders, including senior technologists, thought leaders and business leaders from ICT.
