About the Practice
Tenbury Surgery is looking for a salaried GP to work with us for 6-8 sessions, with an interest in training. We are led by two GP partners who work with four salaried GPs, one ANP, an excellent nursing team, and a Practice Manager supported by our wider team.
Team and Services
We provide weekday medical cover for our local community hospital GP training practice and Keele University medical students. We are part of a well‑functioning Herefordshire PCN with support from ARRS staff including visiting community paramedics, a clinical pharmacist, a mental health practitioner, and a wellbeing team. One of our partners is a Clinical Director.
Culture and Support
Enjoy a friendly, supportive and fun team with regular social events. Mentorship is offered for recently qualified colleagues with an “open door” approach to discussing more challenging cases. Daily coffee breaks and protected administration time (pro‑rata session per week) are available. We have a stable, resilient local population who appreciates the high quality care we offer.
Software and Systems
We use EMIS Web, Docman, AccuRx, and Abtrace.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
- Evidence of annual appraisal and re‑validation (when appropriate)
- General practice (Vocational Training Scheme) trained
- On/eligible to be the medical performers list
Performance and Reputation

We have consistently good QOF results and participate in a wide range of LES and contract activity.
