Equity Research Analyst, Long Short Hedge Fund – Greenwich Partners

Overview

A leading hedge fund is now looking to recruit an Equity Analyst into their team. The role will join a very successful team of fund managers and analysts who have a superb track record in investing.

Responsibilities

• Active identification of investment opportunities for the fund
• Identification of events which can trigger a gain or loss in value of a stock
• Recommending buy and sell side trades to the Portfolio Managers
• Carrying out detailed financial modelling and analysis of investment opportunities
• Monitoring existing positions
• Active member of the investment team

Qualifications

• Equity analysts/ Investment Bankers/ ACAs
• 2.1 or 1st class degree
• AAA in A levels – probably A* in Maths
• Real interest in financial markets
• Technically excellent
