This growing technology business is developing next-generation edge platforms for the transport sector, combining embedded systems with computer vision to deliver intelligent, real-world solutions at scale. The team is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to take technical ownership of embedded and edge systems across a range of products moving from development into production. You’ll play a key role in shaping system architecture, working across embedded Linux platforms, hardware integration and real-world deployments, with the opportunity to influence technical direction and mentor others within the team.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of embedded and edge systems across a range of products from development into production.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and work across embedded Linux platforms, hardware integration and real-world deployments.
• Influence technical direction and mentor other team members.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Embedded Linux systems.
• Experience working close to hardware and electronics.
• Knowledge of edge AI or Computer Vision is advantageous.
• Experience with Yocto, edge/IoT systems or video/vision-based platforms is ideal.
• Ability to take ownership of technical decisions and lead projects.
