Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing, developing, and optimising our supplier base to ensure the effective delivery of strategic manufacturing components and Jigs products that directly support programme objectives. In addition to your technical and commercial responsibilities, you will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, offering guidance, coaching, and support to colleagues across the wider team.

Core Duties

  • Leading a small onsite team and scopes of work – fabrication/welding and machining activities from a Quality perspective
  • Managing the supplier on Quality deliverables
  • Reporting into the Senior Quality Manager
  • Managing non-conformances and Quality reports
  • Visiting and managing the supplier on the Submarine tier work activities

Essential Skills

  • CSWIP 3:1 qualified
  • Internal Audit qualification
  • Experience of Quality documentation (e.g. ITPs & MRBs)
  • Quality project experience
  • Proven experience in line management, mentoring, and developing team members
