Hubspot Integration Specialist – Edinburgh/Hybrid/Remote Flex

Lorien’s client, a great Edinburgh based firm who started out in the SEO domain and have since grown and evolved to become a key name in the Digital Transformation and CRM space, is looking for a hands‑on, technical Hubspot Integration Specialist to come on board and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining integrations between Hubspot and the firm’s wider tech stack.

Role Snapshot
This post offers a great mix of CRM architecture, API development, strategic automation and systems thinking; ensuring seamless data flow, scalable automation and reliable system interoperability across the organisation’s marketing, sales, customer success, finance and product systems.
Key Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain custom integrations between HubSpot and 3rd-party systems, such as ERP/billing offerings/product DBs/etc.
- Work extensively with APIs (REST, webhooks, OAuth) to ensure secure data synchronization
- Configure HubSpot’s custom objects, properties, workflows, and automation tools
- Build middleware solutions and implement bidirectional sync logic
- Draft scalable CRM data models and establish integration best practices
- Troubleshoot sync failures, optimize workflows, and maintain data hygiene
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical integration plans
- Provide comprehensive technical documentation to support the integrations
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Demonstrable record of working with Hubspot in a technical hands‑on capacity
- Strong understanding of Hubspot APIs and custom app development
- Track record of integrating SaaS platforms (CRM/ERP/marketing automation/billing tools/etc.)
- Hands‑on skills across one of the following: JavaScript / Node.js / Python
- Expertise around REST APIs, Webhooks, OAuth 2.0
- Awareness of middleware tools and a strong understanding of data modelling and system architecture
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and, ideally, any relevant HubSpot certifications
