Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data centre construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out
  • Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resource plans
  • Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure alignment and progress
  • Oversee procurement of construction services, equipment, and materials
  • Manage all on‑site construction activities, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards
  • Oversee installation of critical systems including power, cooling, mechanical, and structural elements
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, contractors, and external partners
  • Provide clear and consistent reporting on project status, risks, and milestones
  • Facilitate coordination between engineering, operations, and commercial teams

Risk & Quality Management

  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure quality assurance processes are in place and followed throughout the build
  • Manage change control processes and assess impact on cost and schedule
  • Oversee commissioning activities to ensure systems are tested and operational
  • Ensure smooth transition from construction to operations teams
  • Manage documentation, certification, and final project close‑out

Key Requirements

Experience

  • Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects, ideally within data centres or other mission‑critical environments (e.g. healthcare, utilities, industrial facilities)

Skills

  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial management

Qualifications

  • Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) preferred
  • 33 days annual leave
