Overview

Capital City College is looking for a skilled Front of House Assistant to support and drive key operational functions in a live restaurant setting, helping shape the future of education in London. This role is offered on an hourly paid basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service in a live restaurant setting
  • Welcome guests and manage seating in a professional and friendly manner
  • Take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle payments
  • Support lunch and evening service during busy periods
  • Prepare and maintain dining areas to a high standard
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and service standards at all times
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service

What We’re Looking For

  • Students currently enrolled on a Hospitality or related programme
  • A positive attitude with a strong focus on customer experience
  • Good communication, teamwork, and time‑keeping skills
  • Confidence when interacting with customers
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Reliability, particularly during peak service times and Saturdays
