A business operating large-scale digital platforms within the automotive sector is looking for a Platform Engineer to join its CloudOps team.
The role sits within a team responsible for maintaining and improving the cloud infrastructure that supports high-traffic e-commerce platforms. Work will include supporting a major platform relaunch, improving platform reliability, and helping deliver new international environments as the business continues to expand.
This position offers a mix of platform operations, infrastructure automation, and delivery of new cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Support the relaunch of a large automotive e-commerce platform
- Build and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure
- Deliver new cloud environments for international platform rollouts
- Improve platform reliability, automation, and deployment processes
Technology Environment
- AWS
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
- Observability tooling (logging, metrics, alerting)
Experience Required
- Hands‑on experience running Kubernetes in production environments
- Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure (Azure experience also considered)
- Experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tools
