Recruitment Consultant – Bristol – £28-£30k p/a

Ignition Driver Recruitment is currently recruiting for a 360° Recruitment Consultant, to be based at our office in Bristol.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience working within recruitment
  • Passion for sales and business development
  • Ability to think on your feet
  • Capability to learn quickly
  • Drive and determination to push yourself in a challenging environment
  • Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

  • End‑to‑end booking process of HGV drivers
  • Attend regular meetings with new and existing clients for servicing and business growth
  • Participate and promote all engagement initiatives with teams
  • Recruit, book and manage HGV drivers for high‑profile clients
  • Advertise, screen and interview potential HGV drivers
  • Client and candidate engagement and hands‑on people management
  • Plan and maintain driver availability
  • May involve warehousing flex‑employees

Working Hours

Monday to Friday; full‑time; 37.5 hours per week. Flexible working hours and days, longer hours during busier periods and potential weekend work. On‑call facility based on rota, not all the time.

Candidate Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, experience of building and maintaining relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
  • Confidence with time management
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • 12 months experience working in a similar role
