Labcal is a dedicated team of experienced engineers providing specialist UKAS accredited calibration services for test equipment across a wide range of parameters.

Position Summary

The Calibration Engineer will calibrate a wide variety of mainly flow meters.

Main Duties

• Calibration of customer and in-house meters, gauges and various instruments
• Follow all documented calibration procedures
• Comply with all of the Company’s quality procedures
• Accurately record all measurements made and produce calibration certificates
• Keep accurate calibration records, including ensuring that all of the equipment used is in calibration
• Be aware at all times that all customer information, including calibration results, must remain confidential
• Effectively communicate with customers about technical requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Previous hands‑on Calibration, Test or Equipment Engineering experience in Pressure, Velocity, Temperature & Humidity, or Gas & Liquid Flow
• Driving licence, as some travel may be required to other sites
• PC literate

Additional Advantageous Experience

• UKAS signatory

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to use initiative and communicate effectively at all levels with staff and customers
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to follow procedures
