Fire & Security Service Engineer

Job description

Salary £36,000 – £50,000 basic salary depending on skills and experience.

Full‑time permanent role 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

We are a Security Company based in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Installation Engineer within the fire and security industry.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of a wide range of security systems including Access Control, Fire Alarms & Intruder Alarm and CCTV systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Complete all relevant paperwork for installation and maintenance.
• Carry out remedial action associated with the systems.
• Be part of the on‑call rota, providing support over the phone or attending sites when needed.
• Provide excellent service to customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Experienced in the installation of Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarm (training can be provided if only experienced in one or some of these disciplines).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
• Ability to work on your own with no supervision.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.
