MPI are looking for PERMANENT Service Repair Pump Engineers, for our client based in London

Location:

Ideally London, but will consider Kent, Surrey, Southampton, Reading, Oxford etc.

Hours: Typically, start at 8 and finish at 4:30 however this is work dependent anything over 9 hours a day is paid at over time rates

  • Discretionary bonus scheme (8%)
  • 25 days holiday

  • 8% bonus (if goals are achieved)
  • Overtime, average per engineer at least £5000.00/year.
  • £50 per night staying away allowance – if this is needed
  • Use of company vehicle out of hours.

About the role

In your role as Service & Repairs Engineer you will provide all aspects of on-site servicing, repairs and installation works covering domestic and commercial contracts throughout the UK. On call duty and standby will be required on a rotary basis to allow for 24/7 service cover.

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

  • Understand and adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Carrying out site surveys and providing relevant information to the office
  • Actively be aware of opportunities to promote Client’s Services
  • Perform Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Perform fault finding and repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Assist with on-site installation of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork
  • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary
  • Provide accurate information to the relevant department or Manager
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues
  • Essential qualifications, experience and skills required:Knowledge of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Fault finding and minor repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Organised and self-motivated
  • A pleasant and friendly ‘can do’ attitude
  • Health and Safety training required for the role
  • Good time keeping
  • Be flexible and adaptable

Knowledge and skills to develop:

  • Advanced fault finding and repairs
  • Further Health and Safety training required for the role
