Job Description:

At Co-op Live, we’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to help bring world‑class events to life.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver the production operation for allocated events, working alongside the Senior Production Manager and the wider Venue Management team.
  • Lead production teams and build collaborative relationships with visiting production teams, promoters, contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance and industry best practice, including IOSH Managing Safely and CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Interpret and clearly communicate complex technical and production requirements, including drafting and adapting plans in AutoCAD.
  • Supervise construction and rigging, manage contracts and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver seamless and unforgettable live experiences.
  • Represent Co‑op Live at events, maintaining a strong professional presence and driving operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong technical background with proven experience in event planning and delivery in a venue or touring environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and solid understanding of rigging set‑ups and event rigging processes.
  • Knowledge of IOSH Managing Safely, CDM Regulations 2015 and event rigging operations, and working effectively with contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
  • Commercial awareness and strong financial management skills to deliver outstanding outcomes.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and a working pattern of 5 out of 7 days to support the events calendar.
