Senior Automation Engineer

We’re currently working with an organisation that is looking to bring on a Senior Automation Engineer to support their Automation Tools team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining automation frameworks
• Building automation solutions using IaC, Python, and Bash
• Working with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, GitLab, Vault, and Foreman
• Integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and improving system stability
• Collaborating with Engineering, DevOps, and IT teams
• Supporting system availability through on‑call participation

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management
• Proven background working with large‑scale Linux environments
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Experience across hybrid environments (on‑prem + AWS / Azure / GCP)

Nice to have:

• Experience in multi‑cluster or large‑scale environments
• Exposure to AI‑enabled development tools
• Certifications or Agile/Scrum experience
