Role Overview
A superb opportunity to join a Tier 1-rated Employment team in its Leeds office. The role involves working on a mix of contentious and non‑contentious matters, including:
- Advising on HR and employee relations issues
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims and case strategies
- Advising on TUPE and restructuring projects
- Drafting employment contracts, policies and guidance documents
- Supporting on corporate transactions and due diligence
- Delivering client training and contributing to legal updates and publications
Qualifications & Skills
- Qualify as a Solicitor in September 2026, ideally having completed a 6‑ or 12‑month seat in Employment law at a top‑tier or highly regarded firm
- Strong academic background and solid grounding in employment law
- Experience in both contentious and non‑contentious work preferred; applicants with experience in either are encouraged to apply
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A commercial, client‑focused approach with enthusiasm for business development
- A genuine team player with the ambition to develop within a leading practice
