12 hours per week (Flex) | 15.00 – 16.50 per hour DOE | Bloxham-based business

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a flexible part-time role with the benefit of mostly home-based working?

We are recruiting on behalf of a small, friendly accountancy practice with a specialist focus on the creative arts sector, who are now looking to appoint a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support their growing client base.

This opportunity would suit someone with solid double-entry bookkeeping experience, confidence in invoice and receipt reconciliations, and working knowledge of Sage and/or Xero. It could be ideal for someone currently working on a self-employed basis who would prefer the stability of a permanent employed role, someone with previous practice experience looking for a flexible part-time position, or a Bookkeeper with a minimum of 2 years’ experience looking for a new opportunity.

The role will be primarily remote, with attendance in the Bloxham office once every fortnight once fully settled, and a little more regularly during the training period.

Bookkeeper duties will include:

  • Bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
  • Invoice reconciliations
  • Receipt reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate client financial records
  • Processing entries using Sage and Xero
  • General bookkeeping and accounts support

Required Bookkeeping experience:

  • Previous bookkeeping experienceStrong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge
  • Experience of Sage and/or Xero
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to manage your workload independently

In return, the bookkeeping role offers:
