Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide. We have a great opportunity for an O&M Project Manager in our Energy Solutions business.

Equans Energy Solutions focuses on the design, installation, commissioning and operation of large‑scale solar PV farms and BESS projects, supplying renewable energy to enable local communities to reduce costs and carbon footprints.

Key Activities

  • Manage implementation of preventive, corrective and condition‑based maintenance activities across an estate of solar farms for various UK clients.
  • Manage subcontractors for day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring compliance with scope, H&S best practices, and statutory environmental requirements.
  • Review subcontractor reports for conformance, analyze data for anomalies and plan investigations and rectifications.
  • Draft, issue and present monthly performance reports to clients for each site.
  • Handle defects or warranty claims and manage punch lists or defect lists, ensuring closure and proper evidence.
  • Interface with the internal commissioning team to ensure smooth handover from commissioning to O&M.
  • Implement advanced data‑analytics tools and lead revamping/repowering projects for ageing solar farms.
  • Stay current with the latest applicable standards.
  • Fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s H&S Policy and Management Plans.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, HNC or Degree)
  • Experience managing operational maintenance of solar farms
  • Knowledge of BS 7671 (18th edition)
  • SMSTS certification
  • First aid at work
  • ECS electrical site manager and electrical safety management
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
  • Computer literacy
