Role: Operations Improvement Manager (Data / Process / Logistics Focus)
Location: Bedford (Bedford Commercial Park)
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 depending on experience + Benefits
Hours: Monday – Friday

What will you be doing in the Operations Improvement Manager role?
- Analyse end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes to identify inefficiencies
- Optimise inventory management within automated and robotic picking systems
- Improve picking, packing, and operational workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Use data to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
- Build and maintain Excel-based models, reports, and performance trackers
- Develop KPIs and monitor operational performance
- Work closely with warehouse teams to implement and embed improvements
- Manage and improve relationships with logistics providers and external partners
What we’re looking for
- Strong analytical mindset with a natural curiosity for how systems and processes work
- Confident problem solver who can identify issues and implement practical solutions
- Advanced Excel skills and comfortable working with data
- Degree or background in Engineering, Data, Computer Science or similar (desirable)
- Experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing or process-driven environments (beneficial, not essential)
- Proactive, driven and motivated to make a tangible impact
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
