Contract Manager – Airport Parking Operations

Glasgow Airport

£50,000 per year + Competitive Benefits

Full‑time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead a high‑profile airport contract in Glasgow. You will be responsible for delivering operational excellence across the APCOA car‑park management, revenue generation, and client services. This is a hands‑on leadership role with full accountability for contract performance, financial delivery, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

  • Manage day‑to‑day contract operations, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards
  • Monitor performance through data analysis, audits, and reporting
  • Resolve operational and service delivery issues

Financial

  • Manage and deliver contract budget and financial targets
  • Maximise revenue and control costs
  • Produce forecasts, variance reports, and performance analysis

Client Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for the client
  • Build strong working relationships and attend regular review meetings
  • Support the client’s business objectives

People Management

  • Lead, develop, and motivate teams
  • Manage recruitment, performance, and training
  • Handle employee relations and staff engagement

Business Development

  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue and improve service delivery
  • Compliance: ensure Health & Safety and regulatory compliance at all times

Who We’re Looking For

You’re likely already operating as a Contract Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Site Manager within a client‑facing environment.

You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience managing contracts, budgets, and KPIs
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
  • Airport, parking, or facilities management experience is a strong advantage but not essential

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in contract or operations management
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness (budgets, KPIs)
  • Experience managing teams in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience in airport, parking, or facilities management environments
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, employment law, and contract law
