Haines Commercials are pleased to offer a permanent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to be based at our office in Sussex from where we cover the South‑East of the UK.
Established in 2022, Haines Commercials is a commercial vehicle repairer, based near Gatwick, who is rapidly expanding and wishes to take on more clientele.
As one of the South’s leading repairers, we have a need for a sales‑driven individual to join our team. Due to continued growth over recent years this new position will play a major part in helping the business reach its next milestone.
Training of our service’s will be provided, allowing you to utilise your sales skills and experience to sell the wide range of services we offer to businesses across all trades. On a regular basis you will work alongside the workshop team to maintain your knowledge and skills.
You will primarily be working from home but will be required in the office on a regular basis. There may be occasions when travelling away from the office is required.
Responsibilities
- Development of Sales Pipeline
- Following up on marketing activities
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Conversion of inbound enquiries, phone, email and website, into sales
- Making outbound follow‑up calls in response to email and website enquiries
- Identifying and following up opportunities
- Effectively recording client contact information
- Keeping up to date with changes within the industry
- Achieving sales goals and targets
- Responsible for managing customer relationships
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have previous experience in new business sales with the ability to identify customers’ needs through effective questioning, overcoming objections while working towards sales targets. With a professional and friendly telephone manner you will deliver high levels of customer service throughout, building rapport with customers and following up when necessary. Developing relationships with prospective customers and demonstrating the company’s strong customer service approach from the very first point of contact is a key principle of the business.

We are offering a competitive base salary of £30,000 – £35,000, with a bonus scheme up to £15k, plus a £5k car allowance.
Bonus will be obtainable once £250,000 of leads have been acquired. Very achievable in the Gatwick area.
