The Lifestyle & Operations Manager is the cultural heartbeat of HiLight.
This is not a traditional building operations role. It is a strategic, hospitality-led position responsible for curating a best-in-class lifestyle ecosystem within one of London’s most forward-thinking residential developments.
The postholder will shape, deliver and continually elevate HiLight’s vision across wellness, community, brand partnerships and resident engagement — ensuring the building operates not just as a residence, but as a living, breathing destination.
Working closely with the Property Manager and client team, the Lifestyle & Operations Manager will protect and enhance the long-term asset value by cultivating an exceptional resident experience that differentiates HiLight within the prime London market.

The Lifestyle & Operations Manager will lead monthly curated events, manage and activate brand partnerships, and build a dynamic resident engagement strategy aligned with HiLight’s positioning as a future-focused wellness-led development.
Strategic Responsibilities
1. Lifestyle Curation & Programming
- Help to manage and oversee a monthly calendar of curated events across wellness, art, design, performance, culture and innovation. Work with the marking team to ensure all runs smoothly.
- Host and oversee all resident events, ensuring impeccable execution and elevated hospitality standards.
- Continue to manage and support the meaningful collaborations with premium brands aligned to HiLight’s ethos (wellness, design, sustainability, innovation).
- Develop seasonal lifestyle themes and campaigns in collaboration with the client and marketing teams.
- Identify and onboard new partners that enhance resident experience and elevate brand equity.
- This is a creative and strategic function — not administrative.
2. Brand Partnerships & Activation
- Act as the building’s ambassador to external brands and collaborators.
- Manage relationships with existing partners and proactively source new strategic partnerships.
- Oversee activation of brand partners within amenities and shared spaces.
- Ensure partner integrations feel seamless, curated and value-adding — not commercial or transactional.
- Track engagement, feedback and ROI metrics for partnership performance.
3. Community Leadership & Resident Experience
- Serve as the visible host and cultural figurehead within the building.
- Foster a genuine sense of belonging and community among residents.
- Actively gather feedback and continuously evolve the lifestyle offering.
- Lead communications via the resident app with a tone that reflects HiLight’s positioning.
- Conduct building tours that reflect both operational excellence and aspirational storytelling.
4. Wellness Ecosystem Stewardship
- Champion HiLight’s wellness identity across rooftop, amenities and partnerships.
- Ensure amenity spaces reflect premium standards of presentation and energy.
- Coordinate with wellness partners for events, pop-ups and activations.
- Maintain an informed understanding of biohacking, longevity and modern wellness trends.
- This role should feel aligned with Six Senses-level thinking — not generic residential management.
5. Operational & Asset Protection Responsibilities
- Support the Property Manager in maintaining high operational standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of common areas.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including fire safety and risk management.
- Review maintenance schedules and hold contractors accountable.
- Support service charge budgeting and financial oversight.
- Conduct team appraisals and maintain strong internal culture.
6. Building Management
- Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, functionality, and overall image of both the interior and exterior of the building, aligning with company and brand standards.
- Conduct and document daily inspections of common areas, including back-of-house spaces.
- Identify key cost drivers and highlight opportunities for cost-saving initiatives.
- Promote a collaborative work culture where staff feel empowered to raise concerns and suggest improvements.
- Maintain the safety and security of all staff, residents, and the building.
- Respond promptly and effectively to resident enquiries, concerns, and requests, while also proactively engaging with them for feedback.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents to foster a strong sense of community and ensure high satisfaction.
- Regularly review and assess maintenance schedules, holding stakeholders – including the designated M&E contractor – accountable for timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
- Ensure any defects or issues are resolved quickly and efficiently, with clear communication to all relevant parties throughout the process.
- Conduct and document regular staff appraisals and performance reviews.
- Carry out periodic out-of-hours site visits (including weekends, evenings, and nights) to assess operations, provide staff support, attend and promote events and deliver training.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager and Client Accountant to review financial performance, identify variances, and assist in compiling the service charge budget.
- Support on tendering and Section 20 consultation processes under the supervision of the Property Manager, ensuring timely completion and value for money for leaseholders.
- Hold overall responsibility for all Health and Safety-related matters concerning the development. Ensure that all incidents and accidents are properly recorded in line with company procedures, and that suitable follow-up actions are taken.
- Support the completion of annual fire safety and general risk assessments, and implement procedures as instructed by the Managing Agent or appointed Health and Safety Consultant.
- Take primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with local data protection laws and GDPR requirements.
- Proactively work to maintain a safe environment for employees, clients, contractors, and the general public.

- Excellent aesthetic judgement and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of modern wellness and cultural trends.
- Confidence liaising with UHNW individuals and high-profile residents.
It is a hospitality-led, culturally intelligent leadership role.
