1st Option operates over two areas of business 1st Option Digital, our dynamic social media and creative marketing agency and 1st Option Locations, one of London’s leading location agencies for shoots.

Based in our sunny Primrose Hill offices, we pride ourselves on being ambitious, collaborative and forward-thinking, while maintaining a supportive and positive working environment. We operate at pace across both companies so strong internal organisation is key to our continued growth.

We are looking for a highly organised, hands-on Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day business operations working closely with the owner of the business.

Please note this is a full time, in office role.

Team and Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure high levels of team productivity and accountability
  • Provide leadership, guidance and motivation to the Bookings Team
  • Act as first point of contact for internal queries and support HR administration and onboarding
  • Monitor timesheets and team optimisation across departments
  • Ensure timely responses to enquiries and effective management of individual and team sales pipelines
  • Support the team with client contract discussions and issue resolution, including pre-shoot agreements and damage claims
  • HR duties

Sales, Pipeline & Reporting

  • Overall responsibility for managing company sales enquiries and pipeline performance
  • Monitor team targets and ensure effective CRM usage
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reports and provide weekly sales reporting to senior management

Location & Owner Management

  • Manage new location enquiries and owner correspondence with swift response times
  • Negotiate joining and photography fees with new owners
  • Coordinate photographers and oversee processing of new and updated location listings
  • Ensure accurate administration and fee collection

Digital & Performance Oversight

  • Oversee creative team output while contributing hands-on to content where required
  • Support new business development and onboarding of digital clients
  • Drive performance across internal brands and external clients
  • Monitor and report on digital performance across social, SEO, PPC and paid media channels
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and platform developments

What we’re looking for:

  • A mature and highly ambitious individual with a creative flair, works well under pressure and can deliver quality work to very tight deadlines
  • Extremely organised and structured
  • Confident managing creative personalities
  • Strong technical ability with Mac, Excel, Google Sheets and experience with a CRM system
  • Detail orientated
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and numbers
  • Naturally proactive
  • The ability to effectively and diplomatically manage people
