As we continue to grow, we are looking for an outstanding Recruitment Business Partner to help us attract and secure the very best talent across our specialist disciplines.

This is not a traditional recruitment role. We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded recruiter who truly understands the sectors we operate in — design consultancy, utilities, and the wider environmental landscape.

You’ll partner closely with senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and owning the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle for complex and hard‑to‑hire roles. You’ll help shape hiring strategies, advise on market conditions, and elevate the overall recruitment experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions
  • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for roles across design, utilities, engineering, environmental and specialist consultancy functions
  • Proactively source high‑quality talent using a range of direct sourcing techniques and market mapping
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert, providing insight into talent trends, competitor activity and candidate availability
  • Manage relationships with external agencies where needed, ensuring value, quality and compliance
  • Champion best‑practice recruitment processes, inclusive hiring and an exceptional candidate experience
  • Use data and insight to continuously improve hiring outcomes and time‑to‑hire

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Business Partner or Senior Recruiter, either in‑house or agency
  • Strong exposure to design consultancy, utilities, infrastructure, engineering or environmental sectorsConfidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing hiring decisions
  • Excellent sourcing skills and a passion for finding hard‑to‑reach talent
  • A consultative, solutions‑focused mindset with strong commercial awareness
  • A genuine interest in sustainability, environmental protection and purpose‑driven work
