Overview

We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to join a high-performing team delivering secure and scalable solutions within a government-focused environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful, mission‑critical systems while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise backend services using Go (Golang)
• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including DevOps and Cloud engineers
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement practices
• Ensure adherence to security and best practice standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Golang
• Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience working in secure or government environments
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools

Active SC Clearance required
