HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client’s growing and dynamic facilities/engineering team.

We are looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer with hands‑on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across commercial and/or residential environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning & HVAC systems
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently and safely
• Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and industry standards
• Working independently or as part of a team depending on project requirements
• Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
• Identifying opportunities for system improvements or upgrades

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar HVAC role
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2079 Categories 1-2 or equivalent)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Must be willing to travel to different locations Including within the same day. Primarily in Sussex, but also wider south east area.
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence (required)
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
