Training Operations Lead
This full‑time and part‑time position is shift‑based (4 on 4 off) and is located at the Global Learning Academy, Technical Block C, Heathrow. Shift times vary from 0600‑2200.
What You’ll Do
As Training Operations Lead, you’ll be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day delivery of training operations at the GLA and leading a high‑performing team of Training Operations Coordinators.
- Providing on‑the‑day operational oversight and tactical recovery across training areas
- Supporting the delivery of the GLA Operational Training Plan and liaising with the Operations Planning team
- Acting as Deputy Building Controller during evacuations and supporting contingency planning
- Managing delegate issues including failures, resits, and contract terminations
- Ensuring compliance with CAA/EASA regulations and conducting H&S audits
- Leading incident meetings and enacting business continuity plans
- Maintaining classroom standards and ensuring excellent customer experience in GLA facilities
- Communicating critical updates and collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risks

Your Experience
- Proven experience in operational environments
- Strong people engagement and development skills
- Strong people management skills and experience, with people policy implementation knowledge
- Understanding of GDPR compliance and Business Continuity Planning
- Stakeholder management experience
