Visum Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading business who are seeking two Specification Business Development Managers to drive growth across the social housing market – one covering the North and one covering the South of the UK (excluding Scotland).
This is a predominantly home-based role with regular travel across the region, including overnight stays as required. The focus is on developing strong relationships within the social housing and residential development space.
Role Overview
- Develop and grow specification-led sales activity within the social housing sector
- Build and maintain relationships with housing associations, developers, local authorities, and relevant subcontractor networks
- Identify and secure project opportunities through a proactive, account-led approach
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts while driving new business across the region
- Work closely with internal teams to support project delivery and account growth
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
- Provide market insight and feedback to support commercial strategy
Candidate Requirements
- Proven background in specification or project-led sales
- Experience selling into social housing, housing associations, or residential developers
- Strong relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholder levels
- Commercially driven with a track record of winning and developing accounts
- Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable with regular regional travel and overnight stays
Salary & Benefits
- Up to £70,000 basic salary
