Part‑Time Receptionist / Call Handler / Administrator Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 6:30pm Additional: Overtime available to cover holidays and sickness
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our busy GP practice team. This is a varied and fast‑paced role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the practice.
As a central point of contact, you will liaise with patients, GPs, nursing staff, and the wider primary care team, delivering a high standard of customer service at all times.
Main Duties
- Handling incoming calls promptly, professionally, and courteously
- Making outgoing calls on behalf of the practice
- Welcoming patients and visitors at reception and directing them appropriately
- Supporting the team with general administrative duties as required
- Maintaining strict patient confidentiality at all times
- Adhering to all practice policies and procedures
About You
- Able to work efficiently in a busy, fast‑paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to provide additional cover when needed
Full training will be provided, including a comprehensive induction and use of our in‑house systems.
