The Role
You will sit within a Retail Data and Insights team, acting as a link between data and the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Translating business questions into structured data problems
- Manipulating and preparing data using Python in a Databricks environment
- Working within shared DevOps code repositories
- Supporting the creation of high quality, standardised datasets
- Delivering insights through Power BI dashboards and reports
- Working closely with senior analysts for learning and development
Your Skills and Experience
- Degree in a numerical or analytical discipline such as Maths, Physics, Engineering, or similar
- Strong logical reasoning and problem solving ability
- Some exposure to coding, ideally Python, with R or MATLAB also considered
- Confidence working with data and ambiguity
- Focus on structured thinking rather than tools alone
