Event Project Director – £65k-70k – London/ Hybrid

This is a senior leadership role at the heart of a culturally connected experience agency. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects and activations, ensuring creative excellence, commercial success, and operational rigour. Working closely with senior clients, internal teams, and suppliers, you’ll play a critical role in driving project quality, team performance, and business growth.
You’ll lead and mentor a team of producers, contribute to new business and pitches, and ensure every project delivers impact, efficiency, and exceptional client experience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of large-scale experiential projects from brief to live execution, ensuring quality, timing, and budget control.
- Working across beautiful pop-ups, festival activations, launch parties and influencer events, you will be overseeing project scoping, timelines, proposals, and P&L management across multiple workstreams.
- Act as senior client lead, building strong relationships and guiding strategic project direction.
- Drive consistency, efficiency, and best practice across project delivery and team workflows.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of producers, supporting performance, growth, and capability building.
- Oversee resource planning and workload distribution across the team.
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation, contracting, and delivery standards.
- Support and lead new business pitches, contributing to revenue growth and client retention.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all projects are successfully wrapped, evaluated, and reported on, with learnings applied.
- Contribute to wider business strategy, culture, and day-to-day agency operations.
Key requirements
- 10+ years’ experience within an event or experiential agency environment.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, integrated experiential campaigns.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
- Excellent client management skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget ownership and revenue responsibility.
- Experience leading pitches and contributing to new business growth.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end production processes.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
