Are you a practical, hands-on EHS professional with experience in industrial or chemical environments?

We are recruiting an Environment, Health & Safety Support Specialist to join a chemical manufacturing site during a significant and high-profile closure programme. This is a critical role supporting the EHS Manager to ensure safe day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, contractor control, and safe site transition through to decommissioning.

Working closely with the EHS Manager, you will provide practical EHS support across site operations, closure activities, and change programmes. • Compliance, Audits & Reporting
  • Projects, Change & Site Closure
  • Documentation & Administration

  • Strong understanding of UK EHS legislation and practical application
  • Experience in incident investigation, contractor management and risk assessment
  • Comfortable working in an operational plant environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Chemical Degree

Preferred

  • NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH or equivalent
  • Experience in COMAH or COMAH-influenced environments
  • Experience supporting shutdowns, decommissioning or site closure programmes
