Job Description
- Lead credit assessments for new and existing counterparties, including private equity and alternative investment funds
- Evaluate client financial performance and develop a forward‑looking view of credit and risk characteristics
- Define, recommend, and oversee credit limits in line with portfolio strategy and risk appetite
- Contribute to the structuring and negotiation of credit terms and related documentation
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of client performance, exposures, and portfolio trends
- Provide independent review and effective challenge of proposed transactions and business initiatives
- Support preparation of portfolio reviews, management reporting, and senior‑level presentations
The Successful Applicant
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
- 7-10 years of experience in a credit risk role supporting regulated and/or unregulated investment funds
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and cash flow metrics
- Broad understanding of global financial markets and fund structures
- Working knowledge of AI concepts and experience applying analytical or AI‑driven tools to risk assessment
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across credit, legal, front office, and risk partners
- Clear, concise communication skills and sound professional judgment
