Business Development Executive – Commission based – Remote (UK preferred, open internationally)

Lunim Applied is a multidisciplinary company working across AI, UX/product design, and media. We are looking for a Business Development Executive (Commission-Based) to help build our commercial pipeline as part of Lunim Academy – a structured training and professional development programme with many satisfied graduates.
The role
This is a commission-only position focused on creating real business opportunities. Your role is to identify the right organisations, start meaningful conversations, and secure meetings with decision-makers.
You won’t be responsible for closing deals. Instead, you will focus on building momentum at the early stages of the sales process.
The role is remote-first and flexible, with structured support through Lunim Academy so you can learn while doing.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research relevant organisations and contacts
- Build and maintain a consistent outreach pipeline
- Start conversations through LinkedIn, email, and your network
- Keep prospects engaged with thoughtful follow-up
- Qualify opportunities and assess if they are a good fit
- Secure meetings with senior stakeholders
- Share clear handover notes with the closing team

The person
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and consistent in your approach
- Comfortable with a performance-based earning model
- Curious about sales, business, and emerging technology
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to have:
- Experience in outreach, sales, or client-facing roles
- Interest in AI, UX, or media
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and AI tools
