Job Description:

Salary: £35,000 basic + £5,000 car allowance + performance‑related bonus

Location: Midlands, North West, North East & Scotland (remote with regular regional travel)

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

PlayMoreGolf partners with golf clubs to grow participation, optimise utilisation, and generate sustainable membership revenue through flexible membership solutions.

We are recruiting a Club Partnerships Manager to own and strengthen our existing club partnerships across the Midlands, North of England and Scotland, including Central England (Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire).

This is a commercial partnership role, not customer service.

The role

You will take clear ownership of a portfolio of partner golf clubs, working closely with General Managers and Committees to:

  • Retain long‑term partnerships
  • Grow each club’s flexible membership category
  • Help clubs maximise revenue from underutilised tee times

A core part of the role is value proposition — ensuring clubs clearly understand the commercial value PlayMoreGolf delivers, particularly when clubs are busy or feel they “don’t need” external support.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage relationships with partner clubs across your region
  • Lead renewal preparation and value‑proposition conversations
  • Proactively identify disengagement or churn risk and intervene early
  • Grow flexible membership participation within partner clubs
  • Help clubs maximise utilisation of underused capacity
  • Reframe PlayMoreGolf away from “cheap golf” narratives towards guaranteed contracted revenue
  • Confidently handle challenging conversations with GMs and Committees

What we’re looking for

  • Proven B2B relationship / partnership management experience
  • Strong retention mindset with commercial judgement
  • Experience growing revenue or participation within existing accounts
  • Confidence challenging senior stakeholders constructively
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable owning a large, multi‑region portfolio
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Midlands, North & Scotland

Experience in golf, leisure, membership‑based or hospitality environments is advantageous but not essential.

What this role is not

  • Not customer service
  • Not reactive support
  • Not a new‑business sales role
