Position Summary

We are seeking a Compliance Attorney/Compliance Manager to join our growing Global Legal and Compliance Team. The Compliance Attorney / Compliance Manager will play a key role in enhancing, implementing, and managing the company’s global compliance program. This role will provide strategic and hands‑on leadership across data privacy, ethics, anti‑bribery and corruption (ABC), and other applicable regulatory requirements. Reporting to the VP, General Counsel, the individual will lead and support internal investigations, advise on compliance risks, and partner closely with business stakeholders to promote a strong culture of ethics and integrity.

In addition, this role will support the broader Legal team as needed, including advising on supplier and other commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance, implement, and manage the company’s corporate compliance program, including policies, procedures, controls, and monitoring activities.
  • Oversee and continuously improve compliance in key risk areas such as data privacy, ethics, anti‑bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, third‑party risk, and other applicable regulatory matters.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the business on compliance‑related issues, providing pragmatic, risk‑based guidance.

Data Privacy & Regulatory Compliance

  • Support the company’s data privacy program, including compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, UK GDPR, EU ePrivacy Firctive/Regulations, PIPL, U.S. state privacy laws etc.).
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business; recommend and implement appropriate compliance responses.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (IT, HR, Security, Procurement, etc.) to ensure compliance requirements are embedded in business processes.

Ethics & Investigations

  • Manage and conduct internal investigations related to ethics, compliance, and regulatory matters, including allegations of misconduct, bribery, fraud, or policy violations.
  • Oversee intake and assessment of hotline and internal reports, ensure timely and appropriate investigation, and document findings and remediation actions.
  • Partner with HR, Internal Audit, and outside counsel as appropriate.

Training, Policies & Communications

  • Develop, update, and deliver compliance policies and related guidance.
  • Design and oversee compliance training and awareness programs for employees and relevant third parties.
  • Promote a strong culture of compliance through effective communication and engagement.

Contracting & Legal Support

  • Support the Legal team on supplier, vendor, and other commercial contracts, including reviewing and drafting compliance‑related provisions.
  • Advise on compliance risks associated with third‑party relationships and support due diligence processes as needed.
  • Assist with other legal and regulatory matters as assigned by the General Counsel.

You Have

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory, or legal roles, including experience with corporate compliance programs.
  • Experience with data privacy compliance and privacy program management including the deign, implementation and day‑t‑day management of enterprise‑level privacy programs.
  • Deep hands on knowledge of major global privacy regimes impacting international businesses GDPR and UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PIPL, and other applicable U.S. state and international privacy laws.
  • Strong knowledge of ethics and compliance frameworks, anti‑bribery/anti‑corruption laws, and general regulatory compliance principles.
  • Experience conducting or managing internal corporate investigations.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to provide practical, business‑focused advice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally including internationally

Required

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory, or legal roles, including experience with corporate compliance programs.
  • Experience with data privacy compliance and privacy program management including the deign, implementation and day‑t‑day management of enterprise‑level privacy programs.
  • Deep hands on knowledge of major global privacy regimes impacting international businesses GDPR and UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PIPL, and other applicable U.S. state and international privacy laws.
  • Strong knowledge of ethics and compliance frameworks, anti‑bribery/anti‑corruption laws, and general regulatory compliance principles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally including internationally

Preferred

  • Law degree from an accredited law school;
  • In‑house legal or compliance experience, particularly in a regulated or multinational environment.
  • Experience supporting commercial or supplier contracts including an understanding of contract law, legal terminology and relevant regulations necessary to carry out the role
  • Compliance or privacy certifications (e.g., CCEP, CCEP‑I, CIPP/US, CIPP/E)
