Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Executing laboratory and field validation testing, inspection, and data acquisition to support software and system quality
  • Supporting the design and setup of test environments, test facilities, instrumentation, and validation systems
  • Developing and maintaining test scripts, tools, and software to support verification and validation activities
  • Supporting product and service validation activities as part of the development lifecycle
  • Developing solutions under guidance, within a team, or based on established organizational standards and precedents
  • Collaborating with SPB and EB business leadership, communicating testing needs, project approaches, and outcomes
  • Presenting validation results, insights, and findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Working effectively within cross‑functional teams to deliver quality outcomes
  • Leading analytical and testing activities using proven methodologies, tools, and approaches, where applicable

Essential Skills

  • Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance methodologies
  • Experience with test environments, data acquisition, and validation tools
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and business stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Engineering or Technology)
  • Have proven experience in testing or quality assurance
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Have experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
  • Have proven ability in problem identification, root cause analysis, and solution development

In this role, work is performed from the office.
