About The Role

Help us deliver Right First‑Time fabrication by making sure every weld, component and record meets the standard.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carry out measurement and visual inspection activities, including weld inspection and associated reporting.
  • Ensure defined inspections are completed to plan and that quality records are created, checked and maintained.
  • Identify, quarantine and control non‑conforming materials; raise non‑conformance reports where required.
  • Support root‑cause investigations and help drive effective corrective actions.
  • Review manufacturing/technical documentation from clients, internal technical teams and the supply chain.
  • Support delivery of project quality plans, ITPs and quality check records; help brief/coach teams on requirements.
  • Carry out calibration checks on internal equipment used within production processes.
  • Support client and third‑party audits and maintain compliance with certified management systems and product standards.
  • Keep a relentless focus on Zero Harm and Right First Time delivery.

Who we’re looking for

Essential

  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced site environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with an observant, methodical approach.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with production teams and inspectors.
  • Good numeracy and report‑writing skills, with a focus on accurate records.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Understanding of fabrication techniques and related quality controls.
  • Experience or awareness of inspection methods such as visual inspection, magnetic particle inspection and dye penetrant inspection.
  • Awareness of relevant standards such as ISO 3834‑2 and EN 1090‑2 (or a willingness to learn).
