Production Operative

The Role: As the successful Production Operative your duties will include: Operating the machinery in a safe working mannerChecking products for quality on the production line and removing defective itemsKeeping machines supplied with materialReporting machinery faults to the production managerKeeping the machines and work area clean and tidy during the shiftOperating hand toolsOrganising stockLoading lorriesPicking and packing ordersDriving a forklift and pallet truck in a safe working mannerRequirements: As the ideal Production Operative you will havePrevious experience in a manufacturing / warehousing environment would be preferableAdherence to and appreciation for H&S and general housekeeping standardsAbility to work quickly to meet deadlinesExcellent attention to detailWork well on own initiative and as part of a team Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the jobHours of work: Mon – Thurs 8am – 5pm, Fri 8am – 12noonIn Return:Competitive rate of pay £ per hrFree parking Why use Staffline?This may not matter to you when you’re looking for a new opportunity, but we just wanted to tell you a little bit about Staffline.
